Decpticon took over

Well, I have been working a lot with the decepticon series (ROTF). As I went to a grocery store and came back, I was shocked that Decepticon is really really trying to get me. Scary......isn't it. Check out the picture below:



I am not joking. I didn't purposely put the decal on it and I have no idea how that Decepticon got there to my Balckberry (hahahahha......). Guess how???????

Great Deal with Great Offer for the Decepticon set

A successful negotiation for my Decepticon set including Ravage, Brawl, Demolishor, Rampage, and Mixmaster. I cannot tell you the detail for how much, but the clue for you (they're best offer with 4 digits). So you can figure it out yourself (hahah...).

Brawl is one of my best ROTF custom yet, at least that's my opinion. As you know, regular brawl has those tan plastic color with camouflage effect. Well, obviously the tan color wasn't working for me, and the camouflage???? looks like worm all over the tank (haha...). Brawl needs some camouflage make-up. His base color was changed to better depicting dessert tank as if it's been under the sun for long time, hence he is somewhat dull color and it's dusty. Of course the camouflage was redesigned to look as more military. As far as weathering, I love doing this guy. Look at his body, you will find the water streaks going down all over. Look at his rusty parts. Man......oh man.

Now, as far as the robot mode, it can't get better than this metal effect. Even though his color is somewhat brownish, but I still wanted him to look metal. So, my trick is to show that underneath his upper layer, there is under layer of metal. Well, it's not really a trick, if you scrap him off, you will find metal underneath it.

Boy ohhhhhhh.....Boy......I thought transforming Optimus Prime was hard. You gotta try this MixMaster. I even cheated and looked at youtube video. The thing is, once you messed up turning and folding, that's it.

Anyways, let's start with the truck mode. Here is another concept of scratched, dusty, and weathered vehicle. He was give full body make over. The idea is to get a real dusty looking as he's been mixing in Egypt. Pheewwwss.. so much sands around huh??? So yeah, he does look dirty. But don't forget his best feature of paint chips here and there, not too much just enough to represent him being in a dusty area. As far as the robot mode, He was given a pretty cool metal look with some shadows to create more realistic metal effect. Trust me, you won't be looking at plastic anymore.

First time I got Rampage, I was thinking .....wow. This dude needs to have some weathering, and its yellow needed to have some make up. Hahahaha. I wanted him to be somewhat dirty yellow. I wanted him to have some rust on him as he's been used for a while. You will find his tracks are somewhat rusty. His smoke stacks are smoky and also around his engine. His robot mode will have some paint chips, rusts, etc.

Here comes Ravage. He was given a better "movie" like color, which is darker metal. He was also give shadows (shades) to give him much more natural look than plain metal. He had a lot of screws holes on his body and heads, but they were filled. One thing that is worth mentioning, is his tail. I customized him so that his tail has more articulations. The original figure won't be able to extend his tail to face forward, but now.....watch out, he's ready to attack you.

Be Patient with my Decepticon

I know that it's been a week from my last auctions, and yet to see my Decepticon set to be accomplished. I really thought that it would be somewhat easier to get them done, but I was wrong. I have been trying to get the detail of this constructicons, this would be dusty, rusty, dirty, and scratchy vehicles. But yet, I wanted these guys to be metal iron look on their robots mode. Hmmmmmmmm.......not that easy after all. Please bare with me as they are very very close to be done. Just a little delay to get them as I wanted them to be. If I am not happy, then you won't either. Trust me.

Frustration to Jet Fire

I have been trying to get this Old dude. Gaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......It's been months now and stores near me just have not carried them. What the #@^$% is going on? I just don't get it. Some of my buddies told me they got them at Walmart and Target. But not me, I went to 4 target, 3 walmarts, and 3 Toys R Us....but still no luck.

I know that you would say, "why don't you get him online????"

Next ROTF project

Well, I tried my best to get those decepticons project done (following the autobots) before the Comic Con (July 22nd to 26th). But unfortunately, they just have to wait. They're almost done though. This time is different style. You're talking about contructicons (construction vehicles and such), that's why there will be a lot of weathering effects including rusty, dust, grease, scratches, worn metal, etc. So here are my some of the teasers.


Ravage is very very very close to be done. He just need a little bit more detailing.

MixMaster's picture when he was primed. but he's more than what he looks.

Rampage has been repainted with somewhat different yellow. He'll be better. Trust me.
Now, one of my fav. ....."brawl" at this point already looks good. I love the shading, and weathering. But I don't know if I should let him be tan/light tan? or should I give him camouflage?....what do you think?
This badboy is going to be SO COOL...............look out.

Leaders Class shipped out

Well, after the 2 leader class, custom Megatron and Custom Optimus Prime, I had been designing and customizing the Autobots. This include Mudflap, Skids, Iron Hide, Bumble Bee, and Side Swipe. They're finally done. Wooohooo.

Now, there are some projects that I have been doing for the next ROTF series. Clue: Decepticon...... hahahahha.......

Custom Transformers Bumble Bee ROTF deluxe by C3

These are the steps taken to complete this custom Transformers:

1. Bumble Bee was washed with warm water and soaps to get rid off the grease and oil from the manufacturer. This way, paint would apply better.
2. On robot mode, He was primed to get a great bond between the plastic and paint.
3. Then start with the base coat.
4. I would first find the best custom paint to reflect the real metal.
5. Bumble Bee was airbrushed with custom yellow to look shiny and polished. Then I would do the detailing with paint brush. Also, on robot mode, I have left the plate number blank. In case the winner wanted me to put their own plate number.
6. On vehicle mode, Bee was airbrushed with vibrant yellow with those 2 stripes on his body.
7. Then he was finally sealed to protect their paints.

Custom Transformers Side Swipe by C3

2. On robot mode, He was primed to get a great bond between the plastic and paint.
3. Then start with the base coat.
4. I would first find the best custom paint to reflect the real metal.
5. The robot mode was fantastic. I love his detailing that I put on him. Looks so cool.
6. On Vehicle mode, Iron Hide was airbrushed with several layers of silver. Then final detailing on him.
7. Then he was finally sealed to protect their paints.

Custom Skids ROTF 2009

These are the steps taken to complete this custom Transformers:

1. Skids and Mudflap were washed with warm water with soaps to get rid off the grease and oil from the manufacturer. This way, paint would apply better.
2. On robot mode, they were primed to get a great bond between the plastic and paint.
3. Then start with the base coat.
4. I would first find the best custom paint to reflect the real metal.
5. Skids was airbrushed with custom green to look shiny and polished. Then I would do the detailing with paint brush.
6. On vehicle mode, Skids were airbrushed with custom lime green. Then final detailing on his head lights, windows, tail lights, Chevy logo, etc.
7. Mudflap was airbrush with custom redish orange, and some silver detailing.
8. On the vehicle mode, he was airbrushed also with redish orange.
9. Then finally both were sealed to protect their paints.
