1. Side Swipe was washed with warm water and soaps to get rid off the grease and oil from the manufacturer. This way, paint would apply better.
2. On robot mode, He was primed to get a great bond between the plastic and paint.
3. Then start with the base coat.
4. I would first find the best custom paint to reflect the real metal.
5. The robot mode was fantastic. I love his detailing that I put on him. Looks so cool.
6. On Vehicle mode, Iron Hide was airbrushed with several layers of silver. Then final detailing on him.
7. Then he was finally sealed to protect their paints.
